The brown-banded cockroaches are the next indoor car that we find in Oklahoma. These cockroaches look much like the German cockroach, but they have three yellow bands around their abdomen.
They are usually found higher up on the wall and tend to hide behind wall hangings. Both of these insects are after the food we have in our homes, and we’ll thrive in unsanitary conditions when dishes are not done or food is left out. These kinds of unsanitary conditions make for many meals for these small insects, and they can find their way into the wall voids and survive there. Outdoor cockroaches and Tulsa Exterminator
The two outdoor cockroaches that we see making their way into our homes, mostly in Oklahoma, are the American cockroach and the Oriental cockroach. The American cockroach is the largest of the bunch, coming in at almost 3 inches long. This brown cockroach is huge and ugly. They usually follow moisture when they find their way into our homes. Broken pipes or some high-moisture area could be a problem if you find that in your home because they they use these for their advantage. They’ll make their way in through these areas and set up shop. In most cases, these insects are just stumbling through.
